5 of 5 founding spots leftSetup waived for first 5 monthly sites

Terms of service

These terms describe the managed website service and the separate option to purchase. Your written business service order records the scope and price. An enquiry or free mockup does not create a paid order.

1. Who provides the service

Boat Rental Sites is a service of Doxa Collection Ltd, company number NI662185, registered in Northern Ireland. Registered office: 3 Red Fort Drive, Carrickfergus, Antrim, United Kingdom, BT38 9EN. Contact hello@boatrentalsites.com. The website offer is for boat rental and charter businesses.

2. Your website and agreed scope

We adapt one selected existing template with your supplied or approved English text, photos, logo, boat details, trips and prices. Single Boat covers one boat or experience. Fleet covers up to five boats or experiences. Both monthly rental plans include managed hosting, SSL/security and technical maintenance.

The standard service includes enquiry forms, telephone and WhatsApp links where agreed; it does not include a new online booking engine. Bespoke design, new sections or pages, a different template after the agreed build starts, translations, ongoing SEO and advertising are separately quoted. You must have permission to use the content you supply and approve its accuracy.

3. Monthly rental and the first five sites

Single Boat is €49/month. Fleet is €99/month. Both have a 12-month minimum term and a standard €199 one-time setup fee. Doxa Collection Ltd is not currently VAT registered; no UK VAT is currently charged. Prices exclude any VAT that becomes applicable, and the written order and invoice record the applicable treatment. Your local tax obligations may still apply.

The first five accepted rental sites pay €0 setup: the usual one-time €199 website setup fee is waived. Monthly fees and the 12-month minimum still apply. The founding offer applies to rental plans, not ownership plans.

Your enquiry and first mockup are free and create no contract. A founding spot is allocated only when we both accept a written service order. A cancelled order before launch releases the spot. The order records your plan, setup fee or waiver, scope, payment dates and launch date. No money is collected by this website form.

4. Approval, payment and start date

You approve the mockup and written order first. Any applicable setup fee and the first monthly fee are then payable before launch. The setup fee pays for the agreed setup work; it is not a security deposit or an ownership instalment. Once the agreed setup work is completed it is earned and is not returned on ordinary cancellation. Remedies for undelivered work remain available. The rental term begins on the agreed go-live date, not when you request a mockup. Later monthly fees are invoiced in advance on the same monthly date, using the last day of shorter months where needed.

No plan change, additional work, automatic price increase or extra charge is made without written agreement. If our own delivery prevents an agreed launch after payment, we agree a revised date or return the fees for the undelivered launch. Payment is arranged after the written order is accepted; submitting an enquiry authorises no charge.

5. One review round

One review round means one consolidated list of corrections to English text, images, boat information, trips and pricing within the chosen template before launch. Additional consolidated review rounds are €80 each. Extra pages, new sections, redesign, bespoke layout changes and switching templates are quoted at €40/hour, with the scope and estimated charge agreed before work starts.

Send the list within five business days of receiving the mockup, or ask us to agree an extension. Silence does not count as approval. We make the agreed corrections and ask for written launch approval. Fixing a mistake we introduced does not consume another paid review round. The first mockup normally takes around seven business days after complete usable content is received; timing is confirmed for each project.

6. Maintenance and content changes

Single Boat content changes are quoted separately. Fleet includes 30 minutes of routine content changes each month, without rollover. We confirm a separate quote before exceeding that allowance. Technical maintenance covers the website we supply; customer booking operations, advertising results and changes to third-party platforms are outside that scope.

Requests go to hello@boatrentalsites.com. We aim to acknowledge them within two business days, Monday to Friday excluding Northern Ireland public holidays. This is an acknowledgement target, not a guaranteed fix time or 24-hour service. Security incidents are assessed separately. No uptime or automated-backup promise is made before the actual hosting arrangements are documented.

7. Rental design refresh

After 24 active rental months, we move your approved existing content into one of our current available templates without another full build fee while your rental remains active.

Request the refresh by email. It includes the current boats and experiences within your plan and one consolidated text-and-image review. We agree the schedule before starting. This is one included refresh at that milestone; further or earlier refreshes, added sections and new functionality are quoted separately.

8. Your domain, DNS and business email

You bring your own domain and remain its registrant, in an account your business controls. You pay the registrar for registration and renewals. We provide DNS connection help and guidance; we do not take ownership of your domain.

Business-email setup, hosting and migration are outside our website service. Arrange your own mailbox, for example through Gmail or Google Workspace, and pay that provider directly. Domain/DNS work must account for your existing email records.

The written order records domain ownership, renewal responsibility, DNS access and your email provider. Ending the website service does not cancel or transfer your domain or your separately supplied mailbox.

9. Minimum term, cancellation and early exit

Rental has a 12-month minimum from the agreed go-live date. After that it continues monthly until ended with 30 calendar days’ written notice to hello@boatrentalsites.com. You can give notice during the initial term; the ordinary end date is the later of its expiry and 30 days after notice. There is no new annual renewal commitment.

Billing continues to the agreed end date. After the minimum term, a final partial month is charged pro rata and excess prepaid rental is returned.

If you choose an earlier end date without completing a purchase, the early-exit amount is based on the remaining agreed base website rental fees, reduced by direct costs we avoid and any adjustments required by law. We provide an itemised calculation and do not charge both rent and an exit amount for the same period. A remaining-term balance is not automatically debited from a payment card.

A completed buyout replaces the remaining website minimum-term payments. Invoices already due for supplied services remain payable; optional marketing agreements are separate. No remaining-term exit amount applies where you validly end for our material breach that remains unresolved under section 16.

10. Service end, takedown and deletion

Rental provides a licence while the service is active; it does not transfer the customised website files. Your domain and your supplied text, images and logo remain yours.

Arrange any purchase and handover, or one export of supplied content and any enquiry records we hold for your site, before the agreed end date. Ordinary content export and reasonable DNS transition guidance carry no exit charge. Migration or a new build is separately scoped.

Unless a purchase has been completed, we take down the hosted website and remove its working site files at the service end. There is no post-service recovery or buyout window. Retain your own content originals and important enquiry records before leaving.

Residual backup copies expire through the actual backup cycle recorded in your service order; required legal and billing records may be retained separately. That is not a continuing hosted-site or customer recovery service. The order must record the applicable backup retention and deletion process before launch.

11. Late payment

We send a reminder after seven calendar days overdue. After 14 days overdue we may issue a written suspension notice allowing at least a further seven days to pay or agree a resolution. We do not suspend while a genuine invoice dispute is being reasonably investigated. Persistent non-payment may lead to termination after a further written notice.

Suspension of the rented website does not transfer your domain to us. We do not add an undisclosed late fee, automatically charge a minimum-term balance, or delete customer content without the agreed notices and handover opportunity. Emergency action for unlawful content or a material security threat may be quicker, with an explanation as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Separate purchase and buyout calculation

Standard outright purchase references are €2,500 for Single Boat and €4,000 for Fleet. The original reference for your agreed scope is fixed in the written order. An outright purchase has no additional standard €199 rental setup fee.

You can elect a separate, fully paid purchase while your rental is active. Monthly fees are service fees, not ownership instalments, and do not automatically transfer ownership or create a purchase debt. The credit below applies only when you choose and complete the purchase.

Buyout = agreed original purchase reference − purchase credit. The purchase credit is 50% of cleared base website rental fees actually paid, net of refunds, capped at 50% of the original purchase reference. Setup fees, VAT, language add-ons, SEO, ad management, ad spend, additional work, unpaid amounts and exit charges do not count.

Single Boat after 12 monthly payments: €588 paid × 50% = €294 credit; €2,500 − €294 = €2,206 buyout. Fleet after 12 payments: €1,188 paid × 50% = €594 credit; €4,000 − €594 = €3,406 buyout. After six Single Boat payments, the credit is €147 and buyout is €2,353; completing that purchase replaces the remaining website minimum-term payments.

Agree the purchase, price, licensed-asset exclusions and handover in writing before payment, and complete it before the rental end date. An enquiry creates no purchase and authorises no charge.

13. Purchased-site handover and optional help

After full cleared payment, we supply the agreed customised HTML/CSS/JS files, permitted content and assets, licence inventory and basic deployment/setup instructions within five business days, unless another reasonable date is agreed. You receive a perpetual right to host and modify the supplied version. Reusable templates, libraries and third-party assets retain their respective licences; exclusions are recorded in the order.

The documentation explains the enquiry-form dependencies and how to connect a delivery service on new hosting. You, your new hosting provider or your developer perform migration, create any required accounts, configure the form and verify that the site and enquiry delivery work in the new environment. These setup and testing tasks are not included in the purchase. We are not responsible for your new hosting or form-delivery operation; this does not remove our responsibility for the agreed files and documentation we supply.

Our brand, hosting account, shared enquiry delivery/database systems, credentials and provider accounts are not transferred. New hosting, email-delivery services, maintenance, domain renewals, business email and rental design refreshes are separate from the purchase.

If you want help with migration, form configuration or other technical work, we can quote it at €40/hour. Scope and estimated charges must be agreed before work starts. Ongoing hosting or support, if offered, requires a separate written agreement.

14. Translations and additional languages

Standard sites use approved English content. For a standard Single Boat site, each additional language starts from €199 setup plus €10/month; larger sites receive a fixed quote. The order records the languages, page scope and fees.

Setup includes the agreed translation, multilingual pages, navigation and checks. AI-assisted translation may be used. You approve the final text and business facts before publication, ideally with a fluent reviewer. Any separately required professional language review is quoted first.

The monthly language fee supports the managed multilingual version and minor translated changes within the website plan’s agreed support allowance. It does not create an unlimited editing or translation service. New pages, substantial rewrites and translation of SEO articles are separately quoted. The rental language fee ends with the managed website service; any support after a purchase requires a separate agreement.

Language fees do not count towards the website buyout credit. Any handover includes the purchased language versions within the agreed licence scope.

15. Optional SEO and Google Ads

SEO starts from €250/month plus €199 one-time onboarding. The first month totals €449, including business onboarding, keyword research, site audit, priorities, a quarterly plan and that month’s service. The initial minimum is three months, totalling €949 at the starter rates. Ongoing starter scope is one useful article, optimisation of one priority page and a brief progress update each month.

The first six months start from €1,400, paid in full before the service starts, with onboarding included and no additional onboarding fee. This saves €299 against the standard €1,699 when paying monthly (€199 onboarding + 6 × €250). The separate marketing order records scope, dates, cancellation, renewal and any prepaid refund terms before payment. Three months is a service commitment, not a guaranteed results deadline.

Google Ads starts from €150/month management plus €299 one-time setup, totalling €449 for the first month. Setup includes business/market and competitor review, keyword/location opportunities, initial search campaign planning/setup and measurement checks. Ongoing work manages the agreed search campaign and budget within the starter scope.

Advertising spend is additional and agreed before campaigns run. We support different budgets and generally suggest at least €5/day as an initial average-budget guideline. This is not a universal platform minimum or a guarantee of clicks or enquiries. No additional Ads minimum term is specified here; cancellation and account access are recorded in the separate order.

Standard combined SEO and Ads service fees total €898 initially and €400/month subsequently, excluding website fees and ad spend. These are the combined standard rates, not an extra bundle discount. Neither service is included in the €49 website plan or earns website buyout credit. No ranking, AI placement, enquiry volume, booking or revenue result is guaranteed.

16. Responsibilities, remedies and disputes

We provide the agreed website service with reasonable care and skill. You remain responsible for your boat operations, guest contracts, lawful and accurate offers, and rights to the materials you supply. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, bookings, search positions or advertising results. Third-party outages may affect a website; we explain and work on issues within our control.

We keep recoverable copies of the delivered website and approved content before planned changes. Retain originals of your supplied content and important enquiry correspondence. The service order records the actual hosting and form backup frequency, retention and restoration arrangements before launch. An enquiry form is not a booking-management system or your sole business record.

If we materially fail to provide the agreed service, notify us in writing. We have 14 calendar days to put it right, or a longer period you agree where a fix reasonably needs it. If the failure remains material and unresolved, you can end the affected service, receive a refund of prepaid fees for the unused period, and receive the ordinary exit handover. No remaining rental minimum-term balance is payable for such a termination. For a materially undelivered ownership purchase, the separate agreement must record an appropriate refund for the undelivered scope, with mandatory rights preserved.

Subject to the exceptions below, our total liability arising from the same event or related series of events is limited to the greater of €1,000 and the website-service fees paid or payable for the 12 months preceding that event. For an ownership build, the cap is the agreed ownership price. Optional SEO and advertising agreements have their own scope and liability terms. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or loss of anticipated profit, except where the law requires it.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Data protection obligations and statutory remedies are not waived by these terms.

Email hello@boatrentalsites.com with a complaint. We aim to acknowledge it within two UK business days and provide a substantive response within 14 calendar days, or explain when further investigation is needed. Both parties first try to resolve the issue in good faith; this does not prevent urgent relief or use of legal rights. Northern Ireland law applies and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules applicable to the customer. A website enquiry does not constitute acceptance of a paid service contract.
