Getting started

From a Facebook page or listing to your own charter website

You do not need to begin a charter website with a blank document. If you already have a website, Facebook page or booking-platform listing, you may have much of the starting material in place.

The task is to bring that information together, check what is current and put it into a clear design. Here is how the Boat Rental Sites process works.

Step 1: share what you already have

Send your current website or public listing address, your business details and the design you like. If you are unsure, choose “Help me choose” on the free mockup form.

Useful starting material includes:

  • Your business name, logo and contact details.
  • Boat photographs you have permission to use.
  • Capacity, facilities and skipper arrangements.
  • Main trips, duration and departure points.
  • Current prices, inclusions and optional extras.
  • Genuine reviews and answers to common guest questions.

Publicly visible material still needs checking. Tell us if a photograph is outdated, a boat has changed or a price is seasonal. Do not send account passwords through the enquiry form; a public link is enough to start the conversation.

Step 2: we build the first mockup

We work from the material you supply and ask for anything missing. The aim is a first mockup in around seven business days once we have the content we need. Missing information or extra scope can change that timing, so we confirm dates with you.

Choose from our collection of fictional demos. We adapt an existing template to your branding, approved English wording and imagery. The layout remains fixed so the build stays focused and affordable.

If you need new sections, extra pages, bespoke layouts, translations or a new booking engine, those are separately scoped. A simple enquiry website can be a useful starting point without trying to build every feature at once.

Step 3: review it in one place

Check the mockup as a guest would. Is the boat right? Can you understand the trip and price? Is the departure point clear? Does the contact route reach the right person?

Send one consolidated list of text corrections and changes to supplied imagery within the selected template. That is the standard review round. You approve the final wording and imagery before launch; another template or new layout is outside that round.

Step 4: agree the plan and go live

The initial mockup is free, with no payment or commitment to request it. Once you are happy to proceed, we agree the plan, scope and terms, arrange the first payment and handle launch.

Single Boat is €49/month and Fleet is €99/month, both with a 12-month minimum. Both normally have a €199 one-time setup fee. The first five accepted monthly sites pay €0 setup. An enquiry does not reserve a spot.

Both monthly rental plans include hosting, SSL/security and technical maintenance. Your business owns its domain and pays domain registration, renewals and business email separately. Single Boat content changes are quoted separately; Fleet includes 30 minutes of routine changes each month, with no rollover.

You stay focused on the guests and running the boats. We handle the agreed website upkeep. For the full commitment and separate extras, read the website cost guide and compare the plans.
